How it works -
The storage cylinder has the heat pump directly connected together as one unit. Using refridgerated lines coiling around the exterior of the heat pump which when heated transfers heat to the water inside.

Split Systems
How they work -
Split systems operate slightly differently the storage cylinder and heat pump sit seperately and are connected by a flow and return line.
When the heat pump operates it pulls cold water from the bottom of the tank passing it through a heat exchanger picking up heat and returning it to the tank hot.

Can offer flexibility with installations due to the size of the cylinders and the compressors ability to be installed up to 15m away.
